Key Responsibilities by Position

Restaurant Manager:

  • Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring optimal sales, profits, and quality standards
  • Oversee team performance, training, and development for restaurant staff
  • Maintain company standards for operations, sanitation, and customer service excellence
  • Collaborate with other F&B departments to achieve overall property goals
  • Monitor food, beverage, and labour costs while maximising profitability

Banquet Manager/Assistant Banquet Manager:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all banquet and event operations
  • Manage banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and setup crews
  • Ensure seamless execution of the event, meeting guest expectations
  • Handle event sales, client relationships, and revenue optimisation
  • Maintain quality control and health safety standards for all events

F&B Associate:

  • Provide exceptional guest service in restaurant and banquet operations
  • Take accurate orders, serve food and beverages with attention to detail
  • Maintain clean dining areas and assist with setup/breakdown procedures
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for seamless service delivery

Commi-I Indian & Continental:

  • Follow recipes and cooking methods as directed by the Head Chef
  • Maintain hygiene standards and food safety protocols at all times
  • Assist in food preparation, cooking, and presentation for assigned cuisine
  • Keep kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils clean and organised
  • Support kitchen operations during high-volume service periods

Hotel Operational Trainees – F&B Service:

  • Participate in a comprehensive training program covering all F&B operations
  • Learn restaurant service standards, guest interaction, and hospitality excellence
  • Rotate through different F&B departments, gaining hands-on experience
  • Develop skills in food service, beverage operations, and event management
  • Prepare for career advancement within The Resort Mumbai’s operations

Requirements for The Resort Mumbai Positions

Restaurant Manager:

  • 3-5 years of restaurant management experience in luxury hospitality
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams
  • Excellent communication and guest service orientation
  • Knowledge of F&B operations, cost control, and revenue management
  • A hotel management degree or equivalent qualification is preferred

Banquet Manager/Assistant Banquet Manager:

  • 2-4 years of experience in banquet operations or event management
  • Proven ability to coordinate large-scale events and manage teams
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Customer service excellence with problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience with event sales and client relationship management

F&B Associate:

  • 1-2 years of experience in hospitality or the food service industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Commi-I Positions (Indian & Continental):

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen environment
